Swim Sticker Programs

Members and guests ages 9 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult and under direct supervision of a legal guardian. Members ages 9 and under with a valid swim sticker do not need to be accompanied in the water when lifeguards are on duty (summer months) but must always remain under direct supervision of a legal guardian.

To obtain a swim sticker, a swim test administered by a certified lifeguard will be required for all applicants. Schedule an appointment by emailing troutcreek@tahoedonner.com. Applicants must be able to swim 100 yards continuously and unassisted in under four minutes in any competitive stroke or combination thereof.

SWIM RULES:

  • Members and guests ages 13 and under must be under direct supervision of a legal guardian at all times.
  • Members and guests ages 9 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult and under direct supervision of a legal guardian.
  • Members ages 9 and under with a valid swim sticker do not need to be accompanied in the water when lifeguards are on duty (summer months) but must always remain under direct supervision of a legal guardian.
  • Use of the Lap Pool is restricted to lap swimming only. Lap swimming is defined as swimming continuously from one end of the pool to the other.
  • Swim diapers and/or tight-fitting rubber pants are required for all children who are not potty-trained.
  • Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed in the pool. No other flotation devices are allowed.
  • Small coolers or soft coolers are allowed. Staff discourage the use of large/heavy coolers.
  • No glass allowed.
  • No chewing gum allowed.
  • No alcoholic beverages and/or smoking/vaping allowed.
  • No diving.
  • No running on pool deck.
  • No hanging on lane lines.
  • 11-person maximum capacity in all hot tubs.
  • No loud obnoxious noises, screaming, shoving or pushing in or around the pools and hot tubs.
  • No breath-holding games.
  • Only those ages 18 and over are admitted in the steam room and dry sauna.
  • Tampering with any facility equipment other than its intended use is absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate loss of privileges.
