Trout Creek Recreation Center Parking Lot Asphalt Replacement
WHAT IS THE PROJECT?
- The Trout Creek Recreation Center parking lot asphalt and curbs have been replaced. The project is complete.
 
WHY THIS PROJECT?
- The parking lot asphalt and curbs have exceeded their useful life. This is a scheduled replacement reserve project to keep our facilities in a well-maintained condition.
 
WHAT ARE THE IMPACTS?
- Construction occured from September 3 through mid-October 2021. Impacts varied depending on the construction activity. All efforts were made to keep the Rec Center facility open during this time.
 
WHAT IS THE TIMELINE?
- Timeline includes:
- September 3-11: Set offset stakes, sawcut in front of new curb, curb demo and prep for new concrete
- Southeast side of the property curb and far east side parking by Northwoods (this will not hinder ingress and egress)
 - Complete prep work by September 11
 
 - September 27 – October 6: Concrete form pour and finish with machine
 - Week of October 4: Pulverize all remaining pavement fine grade and prep for new paving
 - Week of October 11: Pave and stripe all pavement markings
 - Project complete in mid-October
 
 - September 3-11: Set offset stakes, sawcut in front of new curb, curb demo and prep for new concrete
 
WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST?
- The total cost was anticipated to be $411,000.
