FUN DAYZ! Weekend Kids Camps

FUN DAYZ have concluded for 2018. We hope to see you in 2019!

Our FUN DAYZ program focuses on Friends Uniting in Nature! Each day will include outdoor exploration, environmental awareness, various activities such as archery, tennis, bocce ball, driving range, swimming, mountain biking, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, and games. Our staff aims to give each child a great mountain experience while providing a fun and safe learning environment. Location and activities vary by day, below are four of the schedules that will occur throughout the program. Sign your child up for one or two days. Pre-registration strongly encouraged but drop-ins are welcome. Cancellation policy, 48 hours before camp start date. Weather permitting.

Saturdays, Sept. 1, 15, and 29- 9AM-3PM

  • 9AM Check in at the Northwood Clubhouse, Picnic Tables near Rec Hut
  • 9:30AM Icebreakers
  • 10AM Bocce Ball
  • 11:30AM Driving Range
  • 1:30PM Free Swim
  • 3PM Pick up at the Northwood Clubhouse, Picnic Tables near Rec Hut

Sundays, Sept. 2, 16, 30- 9AM-3PM

  • 9AM Check in at the Alder Creek Adventure Center, Kids Club Room
  • 9:30AM Icebreakers
  • 10AM Mountain Biking
  • 1:30PM Nature Exploration & Challenge Course
  • 3PM Pick up in at the Alder Creek Adventure Center, Kids Club Room

  • 9AM Check in at the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina, Day Camp Clubhouse (End of Parking Lot)
  • 9:30AM Icebreakers
  • 10AM Nature Exploration
  • 1:00PM Boats (Canoe or SUP)
  • 3PM Pick up in at the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina, Day Camp Clubhouse (End of Parking Lot)

WHAT TO BRING

Please label belongings, your child should have: a backpack, water bottle, snack, lunch, sunscreen, sunglasses, swim suit, towel, and a hat. Suit and Towel only needed on Marina or Northwood Clubhouse days. If the weather is chilly please dress in layers. If the pool is not open we will participate in a different activity. Campers must wear closed-toed shoes. Campers are responsible for their own personal belongings. Staff will not be held accountable for lost items. All electronics and toys are prohibited from Camps. If your child attends camps with a phone, we will ask of them to keep it in their backpack.
