2013 Day Camp registration now open!

Our diverse camp programs for ages 3 to 14 are packed full of learning and exploration. We believe in challenging your kids through new and diverse outdoor experiences. Our programs focus on outdoor education and environmental awareness. Day campers will participate in various activities such as river rafting, rock climbing, beach outings, hiking and exploring the Tahoe National Forest. Our staff aims to give each child a great mountain experience while providing a fun and safe learning environment. High Mountain Kids Camp – Buy Now

3- and 4-year-olds | Downhill Ski Area

This exciting age-appropriate program will continually keep your youngster engaged. Our experienced Day Camp staff will focus on providing a nurturing environment for your young ones while helping them to develop motor skills. This camp spotlights nature education, outdoor activities, hiking, arts and crafts, creative play, equestrian activities, and a Wednesday BBQ at the Beach Club Marina. Please note that the activities offered may vary from week to week. Participants must bring a snack and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Important: Children must be potty trained to attend this camp. No pull-ups are allowed.
Ages:
3- and 4-year-olds (Must be 3 by the first day of the session the child is attending.)
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

5-year-olds | Downhill Ski Area

This camp focuses on nature education, outdoor activities, hiking, outdoor games, equestrian activities, as well as arts and crafts, and a Wednesday BBQ at the Beach Club Marina. These are just some of the highlights of what this camp offers and activities may vary from week to week. Participants must bring a hearty snack, sweatshirt and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: Drop-off and pick-up at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area on M, T, Th, and F

Pioneers – Buy Now

6- and 7-year-olds | Downhill Ski Area

As your camper grows, so does their camp. This year your camper will experience adventures such as a water safety class, hiking, indoor rock climbing, outdoor living skills, arts and crafts, outdoor education, equestrian activities and a Wednesday BBQ at the Beach Club Marina. Field trips and activities may vary from week to week. Participants must bring a hearty lunch, sweatshirt and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Ages: 6- and 7-year-olds
Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Drop-off and pick-up at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area on M, T, Th, and F.

8- and 9-year-olds | Northwoods Clubhouse

Campers will love the adventurous activities offered in this camp. Each day a new excursion will take place and activities may vary from week to week. Activities include trips to the beach, pool, indoor rock climbing, hiking in the Sierra, archery, personal water safety classes, outdoor survival skills, ropes course and team-building. Arts and crafts, outdoor games, and other favorites will also be included. Participants must bring a hearty lunch, sweatshirt and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Ages: 8- and 9-year-olds
Time: 9:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., Monday – Friday
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesdays

Donner Lake Adventure Camp – Buy Now

10- and 12-year-olds | Beach Club Marina

This camp is designed to enhance your camper’s teamwork skills and outdoor survival knowledge. Many adventures are offered from week to week that may include: swimming, hiking in the Sierra, team building activities, indoor rock climbing, arts and crafts, water sports lessons, junior lifeguard lessons, biking, golf, Wednesday BBQ’s at the Beach Club Marina, river rafting and archery. Participants must bring a hearty lunch, sweatshirt and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Ages: 10- and 12-year-olds
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Wednesdays
Where: Drop-off and pick-up at the Beach Club Marina at the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is located at the exit gate in the Marina Parking lot.

C.I.L.T. (Campers in Leadership Training) – Buy Now

13- and 14-year-olds | Beach Club Marina

Campers in Leadership Training is an intensive 5-day program in which your camper will experience all that leadership training has to offer. Campers will be required to keep a journal of daily notes and thoughts about their experience. This is an experiential-based learning program in which the campers will participate in in-depth team-building, wilderness medicine, leadership development, outdoor living skills, hands-on camp counselor experience and personal growth. These sessions will NOT include arts and crafts and are NOT conducive to those who do not want to make the most of this experience. Full participation is required to maintain placement within the program. Hard work is expected from all participants. Participants must bring a hearty lunch, sweatshirt and the essentials listed on the Parent Information page.

Ages: 13- and 14-year-olds
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Wednesdays
Where: Drop-off and pick-up at the Beach Club Marina at the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is located at the exit gate in the Marina Parking lot.
