Members who pay the Recreation Fee get unlimited, complimentary access to all Tahoe Donner private amenities including Snowplay!
This includes:
BEACH CLUB MARINAWhen you pay the annual Recreation Fee, your member ID card allows you to access Tahoe Donner private amenities without a daily access fee for up to eight qualifying members (four members + four additional). A member without a paid Recreation Fee still qualifies for member rates at Tahoe Donner public amenities and may pay a daily member rate to access the private amenities.

2024 RECREATION FEE
We will continue to offer a two-person option in addition to the historically offered Recreation option with up to eight members per property. The two-person Rec Fee grants access to two of the members on the property. All other members will maintain their member status but will need to pay the daily access fee at any of the private amenities. The Rec Fee is non-transferable, non-refundable and prorating is not available.
2024’s Rec Fee will be prorated, beginning May 1, 2024, and valid through Dec. 31, 2024.

ADDITIONAL MEMBER PASSES
Members can purchase up to four additional passes on their property for $140 per person from May 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. A max of eight member cards is allowed on the property (four members/four additional). Each additional pass is paid annually and includes the Recreation Fee if paid on the property. Additional passes can be purchased at Member Services. Renewal of additional passes can be updated over the phone at (530) 587-9400 or at Member Services.
Valid May 1-Dec. 31 of the calendar year. Non-transferable prorating is not available.
Why a Prorated 8-Month Rec Fee?
Tahoe Donner is working towards updating the Amenity Access Policy currently. One goal is to align the Recreation Fee Year (formally May 1 – April 30) with the calendar year to reduce confusion and ease of implementation. In 2024 will be prorated year (May 1 – Dec. 31), and on Jan. 1, 2025 a new policy will likely go into effect and return to a 12-month period. Fees were prorated based on usage and costs.
MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS
The owner on deed can designate members. All members must be blood related or related by marriage to the owner on deed to qualify. A cohabitation agreement can also qualify a person with appropriate documentation and approval.
Each property is entitled to as many as eight member ID cards for qualified individuals. Each property is also entitled to a maximum of two transferable guest cards for use by property owners’ guests for access to the private amenities, where guest access fees will apply. Guests ages 7 and up pay a $20 Daily Access Fee without a member present or a $15 Daily Access Fee if a member is with them. Up to four guests may gain access on a single transferable guest card.
