Women’s Holistic Horsemanship Workshop

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to re-center yourself and find balance? Come join us at the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center to experience first-hand the healing effects of horses. Our equine friends are incredible teachers that provide a non-judgmental environment for us to learn about self-awareness, work through challenges and be present in the moment. Horses match our emotions and energy through their heightened senses, which serve as a mirror to our inner selves. They provide the foundation for us to dig deep so we can become the best version of ourselves. 

This workshop is open to any woman (18+) who is interested in self-discovery and centering practices through the lens of horses. Horses will be utilized throughout the workshop. There is no riding and all the activities will be done overground. 

The workshop will include: 

• Meditative and grounding exercises 
• Education on neuroscience and horsemanship 
• Journaling and vision planning 
• Yoga and Tai Chi 
• Time for reflection and discussion 
• Groundwork with horses
