Accepting Walk-In Submittals on Fridays Starting Sept. 7

The Architectural Standards Office (ASO) now accepts walk-in application submittals for Minor Projects (see below list) every Friday from 9AM-1PM through November 2, 2018.

Walk-in application submittals will be accepted on first-come, first-serve basis. 

What Projects Are Eligible for Walk-In Submittal?

General Requirements

• A site plan is required if a new footprint is proposed.
• Elevation plans are required for design changes to structures (photos may be accepted in lieu of elevation plans – contact ASO for details).
• Projects must not encroach into a required setback or easement.
• Projects must not require neighbor notification.

The types of projects included in “Walk-In Fridays” include the following:

Minor Projects

• Rear Decks & Lower Level Deck Extensions
• Deck Railing Changes & Stairs
• Driveway & Parking Pads
• Siding & Wainscot
• Windows (With Size Changes)
• Doors (With Size Changes)
• Hot Tub (New Footprint)
• Mudroom
• Chimney
• Commercial Sign
• Walkway, Patio, Fire Pits
• Landscaping, Retaining Walls, & Drainage
• Solar Panels
• Custom Built Garbage Enclosures
• Other

Maintenance Projects (Monday-Saturday walk-in)

• Animal Resistant Garbage Can Enclosures (ARGCE)
• Roof & Gutter Changes
• Exterior Lighting Changes
• Paint / Stain Color Changes
• Roof Paint Color Changes
• Window Changes (No Size Changes)
• Door Changes
• Hot Tub (On / Under Existing Structure)
• Air Conditioner / Generator (On / Under Existing Structure)
• Skylight
