Tahoe Donner Volunteer Trail Days

Do you love Tahoe Donner’s trails? Then join in and volunteer to help make them even better. Hosted by the Friends of Tahoe Donner Trails Club and the Trails Department, Tahoe Donner’s Volunteer Trail Days feature fun, family friendly projects that are open to a range of physical abilities. No experience is necessary, and we encourage everyone to get involved. For more information, please visit

Truckee River Day

Spend the day restoring and protecting the Truckee River watershed. Organized by the Truckee River Watershed Council, this annual event offers volunteer opportunities at sites all across the region, including right here in Tahoe Donner. Previous projects have included meadow restoration, seed and sapling planting, mulching, erosion control efforts, and invasive weed surveys. After the day’s work, celebrate with other volunteers at the River
