Tour de TD + Live Music

This brand-new event is for all Tahoe Donner trail users. Participants will try to make it to as many checkpoints as possible while collecting colored wristbands at each one. Checkpoints will be spread throughout the Tahoe Donner Trail System. Maps indicating checkpoint locations will be handed out starting at 12PM at the Alder Creek Adventure Center (ACAC). Return to ACAC by 4PM and present your wristbands to earn your finisher’s medal.

After the tour, enjoy the sweet sounds of live music from the Sun Rays from 4-6PM! The Alder Creek Cafe will also be open afterward for dinner and drinks so you can celebrate your adventure. Entry fee includes one free drink at the Alder Creek Trailside Bar.

About the band: The Sun Rays is an all-instrumental band that pays homage to the great guitar bands of the early '60s, such as The Ventures and The Shadows, and surf artists and bands like Dick Dale and The Chantays. Their music is upbeat and up-tempo and is enjoyed by all ages.
