Golf Course Cart Path Renovation

WHAT IS THE PROJECT?

• Re-paving of all cart paths. It involves tree and root removal, re-routing and widening paths as needed, complete pulverization and new asphalt paving throughout, except where paths were recently replaced.

WHY THIS PROJECT?

• Cart paths necessitate replacement due to extensive root damage, bumps, cracking and general deterioration.
• Cart path damage impacts a golf cart’s useful life; repairs will ultimately extend the life of the cart fleet.

WHAT ARE THE IMPACTS?

• Cart path replacement is resuming on May 5. Please note: Access to the driving range will be from the Trout Creek Rec Center parking lot until replacement has been completed.
• As a reminder, please stay off the course while it is under construction.
• The Golf Course will be open for play on May 23.

WHAT IS THE STATUS?

• Additional areas are being repaved, including the path to the driving range.
• Shoulder work will be completed prior to the Golf Course opening on May 23.
• The contractor will remobilize in the spring to complete shoulder work.

WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST OR BUDGET?

• The Board of Directors has approved $1,578,414 for construction, funded from the Replacement Reserve Fund.
