Tahoe Donner Association Covenants Committee Discusses Town of Truckee Solid Waste Changes and Wheelie Bins

Changes are coming to the Town of Truckee’s Solid Waste including the elimination of green bags for green waste. The Town of Truckee presented to the Board of Directors at the April 28 board meeting the changes coming effective July 1, 2018. Click here for a to watch the video.

The Association is listening to member concerns about the wheelie bins management, and is inviting the members to participate in providing thoughts how the Association should treat the storage of wheelie bins on properties. There are certainly several approaches as options across a spectrum of: Community collaboration for new systems to contain the wheelies to new TD rules. The Covenants Committee, management and Board are already discussing the issue and plan to this month starting with the upcoming Covenants Committee meeting at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 10.  Click here to view the agenda.
