The Tahoe Donner Association is a California Community Association and is governed by the DavisStirling Common Interest Development Act, as well as the Corporations Code, and the Association’s Governing Documents. California law mandates certain procedures that must be followed in an association election and other member votes that may be required. These statutory provisions supersede any conflicting provisions of the Governing Documents and must be followed during the election and voting process. The purpose of these Election and Voting Rules (“Election Rules”) is therefore to set forth the rules that must be followed to comply with applicable authorities and ensure a fair election and voting process.
